Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge is located in a Ryarutagara spectacular spot in Kisoro district of Uganda. Ryarutagara means a hill with spectacular view of the bwindi impenetrable forest. It’s a home of the mountain gorillas, and within the sight and earshot of the Mashoho River.

The property on which Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge sits was acquired by Bishop Enoch Kayeeye in 1964. It was formally occupied by immigrants for many years. He maintained it in its natural beauty with surrounding natural trees that have been seen several times on the edge of the forests just across the Havens!. It is indeed a spectacular spot.
